I’ve done countless classes before as I love to learn. I’d even done one on making Kombucha, and swore to never attempt it as it as it seemed so complicated. Then Alyce, one of my favourite down-to-earth teachers, advertised her Kombucha class a few years ago so I went along just for the learning experience, never expecting I might actually brew my own. I WAS SO WRONG! Alyce takes a process that can seem daunting and complicated and breaks it down into simple and easy to understand steps so that every person can master the basics of brewing their own Kombucha successfully at home. If you have any questions afterwards about brewing, she also provides post-class resources such as her eBook (which I lovingly still call the Bible of Brewing), the ability to ask her questions directly via the Alyce Alexandra Cookbooks FaceBook Page and entry into the Alyce Alexandra Kombucha Krew FaceBook group where questions, pictures, problems and successes are shared daily amongst people that brew using her methods. I’d now call myself an advanced brewer with 6 permanent crocks and 2 test crocks continually on the go - all because Alyce taught me the fundamental knowledge and steps I needed to brew successfully each time. She is, by far, one of the best teachers I’ve come across and I can’t recommend her classes highly enough.
